The SDI Open Water Course upgrade is an additional day of training allowing SDI Supervised divers to dive deeper and without supervision. Upon completion of the upgrade Supervised DIvers will be issued with The SDI Open Water Certification allowing them o dive independently with a similarly qualified buddy to a maximum depth of 18m.

This course runs over 1 day and includes a review of previously completed home stud as well as  1 shore dive and 2 boat dives. (this is infact well above the minimum course standard and part of Extreme Watersports commitment to create the safest most experienced divers we can).

 What to expect..

Once you book on one of our instructors will be in touch via phone and email, to ensure you are well prepared for your training. Come along to your training as scheduled, we will spend a short period reviewing your dive theory to make sure it is up to scratch (if theres anything your not sure on or have forgotten can review that aswell). We will fit you out with any gear you need and head off for our SCUBA training.  We will start with a shore dive to ensure you are comfortable and get your navigation, lost busy and out of air procedures up to speed. Then we will jump on board our purpose built dive vessel for 2 boat dives, here you will go a bit deeper and see much bigger fish.  By the end of this we feel you will be a truly confident Open Water Diver! If there is a site you particularly want to experience let us know well in advance and we may be able to acomodate.
