Extreme Watersport offer various unique experiences for Primary and Secondary school students of all ages as well as TAFE and University students, community groups, scouting groups, sports clubs etc.
If you are seeking a simple,fun and exciting experience, a team building session or an educational adventure we can work with you to meet all of your schools unique requirements. As well as being expert Dive Instructors, Divemasters, Snorkelling Guides and paddling guides our friendly team of staff includes a range of experienced educators from various fields including Primary and Secondary teachers, university lecturers and a marine biologist.
Our school programs include Walking tours, Rock Pool Rambles, Snorkeling from shore or Boat, Seal Swims, Scuba Experiences and SCUBA Certification Programs, Kayaking and Stand Up Paddle Boarding.
We offer a variety of standardised programs, or we can tailor something to suit your exacting specifications. We can offer programs for groups as small as four and as large as 180.
We can tie any of our tours to a range of Academic, Environmental, Scientific, Cultural, Social or Community minded subjects. Some of our popular subject maters include, Coastal Erosion, Micro Plastics, Evasive Species, Victorian heritage, Early Settlers, Gold Rush, Victoria's Maritime Defense systems (including South Channel Fort, Popes Eye & Point Nepean), Shipping, and of course Marine Ecosystems.

Our expansive rental fleet is modern and consistent, with high quality equipment chosen to ensure total comfort, quality fit and the highest performance. Given Melbourne's cooler environment, we have chosen to invest in quality thermal protection for all guests including 5 & 7mm full body wet suits as well as hoods and boots where required. All equipment is exceptionally well maintained with our in house service technicians performing regular overhauls to ensure the highest standards are met.
Our staff are understanding of each individuals unique abilities and personal needs and provide a sensibile balance to ensure participation as well as enjoyment for all guests.
We provide a fully customised risk management system, including tour specific risk assessments.
All of our staff hold all required qualifications for the type of activity the are guiding. Furthermore ALL of our staff hold Current Workplace First Aid, CPR and Oxygen Provider Certifications, which are renewed annually. First ASid Kits are onsite at all times.
All staff hold a current and verified Working With Children Check, further to this all Supervisors and team leaders undertake a Police Check. Finally for your complete peace of mind our staff are subject to a structured drug and alcohol screening policy.
