If not we can rent you a side mount kit for the course so you can try before you buy! Who this SDI course is for: The certified diver looking to use a sidemount cylinder instead of the standard back mount unit Course prerequisites: Open Water Scuba Diver Minimum age 18, 15 with parental consent Course Content: Theory Session Equipment Workshop Sidemount Product development session (understand the pros and cons of different Sidemount Rigs) 2 Open Water Dives What’s in it for you? Upon successful completion of this course, graduates may engage in sidemount diving activities without direct supervision, within the limits of their previous training. Also, the SDI Sidemount Diver certification counts towards a single specialty rating to achieve the SDI Advanced Diver Development program.
